In my twenties, I had a realization that changed the course of my life: helping others is what gives my life meaning. What began with arts-based social work eventually led me to massage therapy, where I found a meaningful way to put that purpose into practice.
Born in Argentina and later settling in Canada, I began studying Shiatsu, a Japanese form of acupressure massage, in Toronto in 2003 and have continued learning ever since. I studied extensively with Tetsuro Saito, regarded as the father of Shiatsu in Canada, as well as with internationally respected Shiatsu master Akinobu Kishi. Through these teachers, I was fortunate to learn within a lineage that traces directly back to the pioneers of Shiatsu.
Since becoming a Registered Massage Therapist in 2015, I have been practicing in Hamilton, helping people find relief from pain and improve their overall well-being through the art and science of massage therapy.
More than twenty years into this work, I remain deeply grateful to be doing something that feels less like a job and more like a calling.
Outside the clinic, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cycling, yoga, cooking, music, the arts, and volunteering in my community including at my son’s school.
